I invite you to your basement. I invite you to think about your basement as not only a room in your house but a room of deep meaning, purpose and life force energy. I also invite you to think about the basement of your home and in your body; your pelvis.
What does you basement mean to you? Is it a play room, a game room or a library? Or has the basement become the storage area in your house? The place where we tuck away unwanted gifts, seasonal items, and oftentimes, our sentiments from years long ago. We decide to pay a visit here from time to time, just to get a glance of what we left behind, or spark a memory or two. We dust away some cobwebs as we walk down memory lane until we’ve had enough. We turn away, turn off the lights and walk back upstairs to more pressing matters.
This is the basement we are familiar with. But how WELL do we know the basement of our bodies and internal world.
As living, breathing, ball of life force energy, your pelvic floor is the basement and foundation of this place called your home, or your womb.
But don’t be mistaken. A womb is not limited to a uterus. I challenge this term to be adopted by anyone that understands the deeper meaning of what it means to move and speak from, you guessed it, the genitalia, gonads, erectile tissue, organs housed within a spinning/vibrating chakral/energetic system.
