One thing I frequently have to work on is my indecisiveness. It can be as simple as choosing a color on a fabric, which tea to drink, to food choices, to business decisions, how much weight to lift at the gym today, or if I should go that extra mile. The more I feed into this indecisiveness the harder it becomes. I don’t know about you, but I have found that the more frustrated I get in this choosing, the more of a NO it becomes. Analysis-paralysis much?
Do you know what a “no” feels like in your body? Do you know what a “yes” feels like in your body?
This deciphering is part of getting to know ourselves. It is just another allowance.
How much we allow ourselves to feel is also directly related to how well we can begin to feel these subtle vibrations (yes, vibrations) in our bodies.
How do we begin to even understand this difference? How do we move away from indecisiveness towards more clarity?
Often times we are bombarded with the next best solution, or healer, coach, therapist or exercise routine to give you the answer.
What if i said that your road to a deeper yes in your body is by beginning to trust yourself.
Trusting is accepting and allowing yourself to be in that no.
What are some steps we can take to be in a better trusting relationship within ourselves?
Begin by taking a pause. When you cant decide, just pause and step away momentarily. Then the question becomes: “how long?” This is an intentional stepping away. There is no end or beginning, it goes back to feeeeliinng…
Allow yourself some quiet time, no distractions. Set up your environment to be comfortable in your body. This is setting yourself up to get down and dirty with yourself. Get UNCOMFORTABLE and real…
Feel for where this yes or no vibration resides. Is it in your chest? neck? hands? thighs? pelvis?…oh, you know…And if you don’t know, now you know…
Next time you have a decision to make, pause, and compare the two or three or 100 decisions based on the difference between that yes or no.
Move Still, my friends.
